Schools

Bramley Infants School (01483 892346) has been established since 1850 for children up to seven years and schools for older children can be found within a 5 mile radius – see Waverley.gov.uk for more details.

An Early Learning Centre has been set up recently within the school, catering for youngsters from 2½ to 4 years. Its aim is to create learning opportunities for all children by providing a secure, safe but challenging environment. A flexible range of childcare facilities are available from £1.90 per session.

Starting on Thursday 26th January 2006, from 3 - 3.45 pm, there will be a gardening club every week.  We have a new sensory garden and the children were responsible for both helping to design the layout but also choosing and planting the plants.  We would welcome any members of the community who would like to come and help.

We will also be starting Family Learning sessions, where parents can come and join their children after school on Fridays, with arts and crafts, music, storytelling and drama.  These sessions are designed to be relaxed and fun, and also a good way to end the week.

St. Catherine’s School serves the need for private education for girls from kindergarten through to sixth form. For further details contact either the Senior School on 01483 893363 or the Preparatory School on 01483 892562 or online at www.stcatherines.info
